The United Arab Emirates (UAE) plans to shift 50 per cent of government sectors and services to self-executing artificial intelligence (AI) models within two years.
This was announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, in a statement posted on the social media platform X on Thursday.
He said: “Under the directives of the President of the UAE, we launch a new government model. Within two years, 50 per cent of government sectors, services, and operations will run on Agentic AI.”

I guess that’s why they’re only doing half the government. The other half of the AI datacenters were just destroyed.
I’m sure it will go as well as the countries that used crypto for their currency.
