Largest illegal database of scientific papers has gaps in recently published literature, but its chatbot can still prove useful—especially for less-timely questions

          Is this about copyright?

The idea is cool, but yeah I tried it and it was super slow. Maybe it could be useful as like a more semantic search engine than a chat bot

Or, maybe hear me out, maybe it should be legal to provide this. A bit of funding would fix that.

Don’t get me wrong, I love sci-hub. But the Sci-bot tools was super slow like took half an hour for a single repsonse , maybe they just need a bigger datacenter or smaller models

It would work smoothly if it was legal (see Google Scholar Labs).

This is a major reason why I absolutely despise copyright people.
