Why this instead of fixing the many issues with existing products?
My guess is that they’re trying to fast track services that compete with Google/Microsoft because countries in Europe are looking to switch service providers.
Bespoke implementation with LiveKit, instead of just using or forking Jit.si
I suppose it makes sense for purposes of integration & enshittification
