This conflict will not end until the US oligarchs feel actual material loss from the invasion. Right now the Oil oligarchs are just reporting record profits in the short term.

There is already major damage done to all US oligarchs in the long term. But, that will take some time or even years to see the side effects of it. Though we are already seeing major policy changes throughout the world at countries realize that having their energy dependence on US neoliberal trade is no longer reasonable.

Iran will open the strait if one of two things happens.

(1) The US actually agrees to all of their terms and Iran is given major reparations and sanctions relief.

(2) Or, the US Oligarchs milk the short term profits of a dying empire and continue to escalate or maintain the status quo. This will essentially bleed the material conditions of the imperial core (America) working class to maintain the machine. At which point this either evolves into a world war. Or, the US is left in isolation as all US allies connect to China for renewable energy. At which point the only ships not allowed through will be US ships. And, at that point, the one’s going on the news saying “rise up and overtake your government” will be the rest of the world to the US.

Right now the US is hoping that it can get a deal with corrupt leaders in Iran that will take a personal payout. And they aren’t getting that. “We’re close to a deal” is the US hoping they can find a leader to take a deal and become a puppet leader. And that just doesn’t work in Iran.
