I think they call it Kolkata now.
“Calcutta” is what the article says, so I went with that.
The random news site that the article is from has a “My Kolkata” menu at the top, so presumably they know what they’re doing, even if it doesn’t appear correct to someone who doesn’t live there, like me. Or maybe they don’t know what they’re doing. I have no idea.
Oh yeah I didn’t mean to be mean, it was just something I heard only a few days ago.
