Elden Ring Tarnished Edition will launch for Switch 2 on August 28, publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware announced.

Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is an all-in-one version that includes the base game ELDEN RING as well as the major downloadable content “Shadow of the Erdtree.” The title will also feature new armor, weapons and customization features for Torrent’s appearance. The additional content in the title will also be available on other platforms.

    Being able to dress up Torrent without the use of mods has been requested so much. On one hand I feel like it worsens the experience as it can break the immersion. On the other hand, people already abuse the character creation screen to make abominations (although the lack of a hide helmet option makes this not super useful). And mods are also used a lot for all sorts of weird visual stuff. If someone wants to have some fun, why not?
