    It’s hilarious that Jehovah’s Witnesses, who refuse military service altogether (even non-combat) and kick out members who join the military, are directly recognized, while Mormons (who have no such restrictions on military service) are not. Evangelicals consider both of them to be basically heretical.

    Like everything Hegseth touches is just clearly being touched by a know-nothing dumbfuck.

    Edit: well I feel dumb, they are there. I stand by my Hegseth comments however.

      The Mormons are there:

      Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (CJ)

      Amusingly, it’s usually shortened as LDS. But it’s CJ in the military for some reason…

        Man, I know that’s what they go by and I looked for it, but my eyes just could not see it. I have to assume its because (also hilarious) the prefix "Christian - " is missing from their entry. lol

    All of the crazy Christian faiths are on the list, unsurprisingly.
    What’s more surprising is that the Defense Secy’s Church of Quentin Tarantino isn’t.
