According to a recent Red Letter Media video, Sean Connery’s last role was voicing the title character in “Sir Billi,” Scotland’s first feature-length computer animated film.

“A retired veterinarian living in a remote Scottish village encounters a goat who thinks he’s a dog, an Admiral who’s afraid of the water, and a beaver who was raised by rabbits.”

I havent seen it, but Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom was Chadwick Boseman’s final film.

Actually, his last six films: Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, 21 Bridges, and Da 5 Bloods were all filmed after his diagnosis and during his treatment.

He went out like an absolute giant.

e: Damn, now I have to add Giant, James Dean’s final film.

You’ll have to include Saratoga. Jean Harlow was dying/died of kidney failure during filming. See if you can spot the doubles they used to finish the film.

That one has got to be just the most gut wrenching of that category. Had all but forgotten, were it not for your reminder.

I believe that the 1986 Transformers: The Movie was Orson Welles’s final role! He sounds pretty good, but I think there was some audio processing done to touch up any roughness

Final Destination: Bloodlines for Tony Todd.

I wasn’t his biggest fan and I’ve never seen Candyman, but his farewell in Bloodlines honestly really got to me.

I heard they basically let him just deliver a message of his choice to the audience in character, with everyone completely aware that it was his last appearance. It was actually a really beautiful way to honor his legacy and experience. I thought the movie was great and that scene in particular was really special.

+1 for Imaginarium. Love that movie.

Ledger died in the middle of filming. He was the lead. The director and a few of Ledger’s friends cooked up a crazy way to salvage it.

Given the “dream world” premise and what scenes in the regular world were complete, it wound up working in their favor. Also a real sucker for Terry Gilliam’s madness.
