It was 5 miles away in a notoriously bad part of the city. Still not good, but not an emergency.
We technically have near daily mass shootings in Seattle. If you consider the surrounding Tacoma and Seatac area then it’s more than daily.
But no one cares and barely hears about it because these are just poors and red light districts.

Maybe lol to a yank but if there was a shooting within 50-100 miles of anywhere in Ireland the whole country is like “what the fuck happened there?”, different strokes and levels of desensitisation to people murdering each other.
There is no firearm that can hurt you from five miles away, no matter where in the world you are.

Nobody in England’s World Cup base was in any danger from this. Reporting it this way is just sensationalism.
So one of the two daily mass shootings in the US suddenly got relevant because they are close to a World Cup base?
