Users of Meta’s social platforms can no longer share links to ICE List, a website listing what it claims are the names of thousands of DHS employees.
Reddit is removing icelist links as well.
A friendly reminder that the act of doxxing is not illegal. Neither is collating information. Nothing ICE List does is illegal.
It’s just a fundamental threat to the current administration and the billionaire class.
People are claiming reddit is doing it as well.
I’m curious as to just how easy it’d be to get around the censorship.
Like, just find one article from a news outlet that links the site, and share that article.
Or otherwise share a fediverse link to a post to the site.
I thought fediverse stuff was getting blocked on reddit too.
Only if it portrays Lemmy in a positive light. You can criticize our toxicity and left-leaning political biases as much as you like in r/RedditAlternatives though:-P.
People need to get off their dependence on Meta! Its support of Trump was my cue to leave immediately!
You mean icelist.is? It’s pretty easy to remember. It’s also pretty easy to just print it out on a ton of little business cards and just start leaving them in public places. Putting them in library books. On the tables in waiting rooms. In fact, I’ll bet it’s pretty easy to spray paint on just about any surface…
What is this? All I see is
