So instead of half human and half horse, it’s 3/4 human 1/4 horse. I’m going with human except the two legs are horse legs.
Is a husband-brother something they have in the South?
Seems like it would think of it as more of a litter box

That swamp being drained some more?

Maybe the wind is blowing faster than the duck is flying

I like the M&Ms a lot better, but this year when I did my annual binge of 75% off, post-Easter candy, I got some Reese’s pieces eggs. They were like Reese’s pieces, but much larger - maybe the size of peanut butter M&Ms. They were actually really good; a better inside to outside ratio.
Similarly, one of my favorite candies are the Cadbury mini eggs they sell at Easter, which are a similar size. They’re like large plain M&Ms, with better quality chocolate and candy. I like the dark chocolate version best.

Not really a “food” but I find peanut butter M&Ms the most addictive thing in the world.

My wife loves cottage cheese with crushed BBQ potato chips mixed in, which I imagine is similar.

Being paid to read books? Sounds great.
The nuts and bolts are this: an agent, executive, or producer sends Clarke a book or manuscript, blind. He reads it and writes a detailed beat-by-beat synopsis of the core scenes, settings, conflicts, and characters. Here, he quotes essential dialogue and, if any sentence-level writing stands out, includes excerpts. He then steps back to evaluate how the book might actually function on screen, that is, which elements are inherently cinematic, what can and can’t be rendered visually or dramatized, and what kind of movie or series the material wants to be.
Uh, okay, that sounds like work…

Worked on the shuttle engine program, so that’s would be my preferred approach.

Going to buy me some helium and hydrogen and make a fortune!

When she made that announcement, there were lots of folks saying “Oh, I wonder what’s about to come out…”
I like that one

I haven’t read Black Leopard, Red Wolf; not sure I will. I’ve read some good things about it, but I’ve also read that those horrors and atrocities are pretty, well, horrible. That kind of stuff tends to stick with me. Not that I avoid any book where bad things happen, but if it’s too graphic is going to bother me.

Wormwood is the name of something that factors heavily in the series

The did the same thing last I saw - people were commenting that he’d posted the same story from multiple accounts. They pointed out that all of the sources were trash/conspiracy sites, and explained why it’s not that weird, but he just keeps posting it over and over.
