Yep, my father in law got locked out of his bank because of this. He has a Chromebook so he couldn’t upgrade anymore, he thought he had to change his computer but fortunately Linux will never be obsolete so I just migrated him to freedom.

Happy cake day!
Happens to me all the time!!!

All software need active development. Dependencies change, new features are requested, bugs appear, … Even the most simple utilities are concerned
You can avoid pain with the proper layout though, try workman or dvorak

I prefer that over hiding the fact they used a LLM. At least I know what to expect when I see that.

Unfortunately no, but I’m also interested if anyone has some

Well, time to teach everybody then

Looks promising! And it’s refreshing to see something that doesn’t look vibecoded in a week. Couldn’t find any AGENTS.md or other AI crap so I could actually try it

On your phone? Writing code on a virtual keyboard is awful, how do you do that?

Tbh, the first Transformers is one of my favorite watch-it-when-it-rains-blockbuster, the story is not that bad and the score is just perfect.
Nice! I didn’t know clients depending on Shazam could send fingerprints only, that’s great in terms of privacy!

Escaping your “comfort zone” and going into the unfamiliar is definitely something that will help to build yourself away from your parents. Don’t put yourself in dangerous situations for that though.
I think the moments that influenced my life the most and made me feel like I’m an adult and not my parent’s child anymore were the ones that took me way out of my comfort zone (WOOFFing far away, sleeping in a stranger’s garden shelter (I don’t recommend that), quitting the job I was “meant to have”, having a child (the most opposite of comfort zone), …)
Edit: obviously, as others said, don’t take this for a good life advice. Life has been nice to me (I’m a white cis male so I’m not subject to danger as much as other parts of the society) and I haven’t had any huge problems going out of my comfort zone, but this might not be the case for everyone so I’m really not pushing you to put yourself in danger. Before moving out you should be absolutely sure you’re not putting yourself in a dangerous situation. You could try to live some days there first for example.
Anyway, good luck with your situation!
A few days seems very long for a page to load

I’d say it depends on the heuristic of the path planning algorithm, eg. if road surface is taken into account and the road it chose is asphalt while the other one is dirt then that path makes sense.
What application are you using to find this path? OSM in itself doesn’t do path planning if I’m not wrong, it’s just the map’s structured data

I had the bad idea to study computer science so I’m basically the computer (and unfortunately printer) “specialist” of the whole in-law family
