There are some 24GB sticks around, same with 48GB sticks

I’d wholly disagree with the assessment that the software requires cloud use or even their slicer. There’s still the perfectly viable LAN mode or loading it via SD card. Neither of which ever touch their cloud

Iirc it’s automatic if an instance hits more than some percentage of users (active presumably)

They did (do?) have the tab you have to break to flash new firmware to your printer though.

I suspect it may be bios level allocation of system ram to an igpu? I think that could affect how the system reports ram??
