That one was so good, especially the seinfeld cut.

100% this. I couldn’t find any other good carplay music player that wasn’t a subscription like Spotify.

My understanding is that Anthro is paying all this money to musk because they didn’t go crazy with speculative purchasing like openai did.
Anthro waited until they had users and subscriptions (and money) and now that they’ve got these and are trying to meet demand, xAI are one of the only games in town with lots of idle capacity (I guess due to the fact that grok is an unwanted step child lol).

Honestly, this is such a nice silver lining, my 3080 that’s like 6 years old is still working fine even on newer titles since no one is making/ buying better cards (or cards with more VRAM) in large quantities.
I can’t remember having a GPU this old that was still relevant, my old 780ti was so limited by its 3gb vram.

This seems like a bad, revisionist take. France kick started Israel’s nuke program, and they tested their stuff with South Africa.
During the development of their program, I don’t think the US and Israel were even on good terms.

David Gilmour’s comfortably numb solo in Pompeii, starts around 4:30 here

Compared to everything else on the market it had big problems with reliability, range, charging speed, and it was overpriced.
I think everyone expected that Toyota, with its hybrid experience and the benefits of seeing all other EVs on the market wouldn’t make such a poor attempt. It felt like they were poisoning the well, as if not wanting to compete in the EV space in the first place.

I do agree about the early hybrids, The OG prius was a dog. But I feel that they sorted it out quickly enough, engineered out the potential reliability issues of a more complex drive train, brought down the price of batteries and motor tech, etc.
They had a huge advantage in solving these problems before anyone else was touching hybrid tech, and then largely squandered the lead, and a chance to make everything they sell cleaner and more efficient.

Toyota is way too conservative. After nailing hybrid tech early on, it seems like they wasted the opportunity to put it on every vehicle they make which would have been such an amazing step forward, instead of treating it as a weird niche for so long.
Also that bz4x or whatever deserves a spot on the worst cars of all time list, just straight up ewaste.
Best way to use Fahrenheit is to consider it as a percentage of how hot it is. 0 degrees is zero percent hot, and 100 is fully hot. Beyond that you’re in super cold/hot territory.
But yeah, Celsius is still better.

Interesting article, but good god the PC gamer site is trash. I had like 3 separate overlays while trying to read the article, and they hijacked my back button too.

I have a lack on wheels with rack servers at the bottom and a enclosed prusa 3D printer on top, is great, haha.

I use the ecowitt wh51, and they work pretty well. I have the 433mhz ones, but I’m using the ecowitt gateway, and not a rtl usb adapter.
They’re not that small though, but they run off a single AA battery, and the battery life is pretty good. Integrates well with home assistant.

Steam deck has basically always been out of stock in Japan online. The Komodo reseller has done a terrible job here, and I hope that when Valve releases the next gen of hardware (machine, frame, controller) they’ll have the foresight to work with someone better, or sell it themselves.
I’ve bought/ imported a ton of electronics hardware for both personal and work use, and Komodo is not good.
No joke, this is exactly why I cancelled Spotify and went back to piracy!
They “”accidentally“” started playing ads one night, didn’t apologize or offer any refunds, and it was the easiest decision ever to dust off my pirate hat and not look back.
No regrets!
Luckily passive investment plans (especially retirement funds) overwhelmingly choose sp500 type plans over nasdaq ones.
To be honest I can imagine (and I hope this is the case), that the nasdaq decision to ignore their own rules and prop up the spacex clownshow comes back to bite them in the ass as companies do their fiduciary duty and move to more reliable indexes that aren’t complicit in this.
