Everspace 2. It’s giving me Freelancer vibes and isn’t as weird as Chorus. Pretty good for what it is. A little video gamey… I still haven’t used my “ult” on my ship just because it doesn’t feel right. The AI is pretty basic too.
I’m still having fun though. I’ll stick it out for now.
After I took an ADHD examination, I was turning my results in to the receptionist. I said “I think I did pretty good, yeah?” and they replied “you and your doctor will have a lot to talk about”.

For me, watching soccer is fun sometimes because I used to play a lot. I get to compare my experience to a professional one. But even then, I’m not an avid fan. I don’t follow any teams or know player names etc.
What’s weird to me is so many people watching sports they’ve never even considered playing.
I still think about Battlerite from time to time. Very fair high skill arena fighting game that’s faster and more to the point than MOBAs that were dominating the PvP scene at the time. It had a great launch then everyone stopped playing it.
One Piece turned out okay.

Pros travel around a lot. I love hopping into community deathmatch and seeing pros warming up. If you manage to kill them even once in a fair-ish head-to-head, it’s a great feeling.
Then you look at their K/D vs yours and snap back to reality.
I love Akira but Kaneda has serious plot armor. He gets shot at by soldiers with automatic weapons countless times and survives. That and the collapsing buildings, psychics, and other hazards he just shrugs off. Meanwhile, Chiyoko gets stabbed by some random scumbag.
People hear take the phrase “you can’t compare apples and oranges” and get confused as to why you wouldn’t be allowed to compare two fruits. But I think the intended meaning of that phrase is more like “you cannot compare apples to oranges as if they are the same thing/category”. So imagine you’re comparing apples with other apples and someone wants to bring up how oranges fare in the considerations. You may be inclined to respond “Sorry, those are too different to apply here” which is what the original phrase intended to convey. Which of course nowadays is sometimes shortened to someone quipping “apples and oranges, mate” and leaving it at that.
I interviewed for a fintech startup once and they were the most condescending assholes I’ve ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Anecdotal, but they really left an impression.
Never had a problem with mine and I have smacked them into solid objects pretty hard a few times.

Humans are weird and UX wants the web app to behave how humans expect it to behave. That’s how we got here. There’s a whole host of reasons why manipulating browser history is awful, but here we are.

Spamalot. I heard some negative things and wasn’t that excited to see it. However, it was actually quite good and I had a lot of fun.
My employer has been axing so many high level engineers it’s not even funny. I think that’s terrible for engineer morale. Why would you want to strive to improve and get promoted if it just makes you “too expensive to keep on payroll”?
Your question is not stupid, but it is overly vague and broad. An equally vague and broad answer would be: "They did their best with the tools and knowledge they had, tried to copy other cartographer’s work (and failing that, their techniques), and otherwise just guessed. Failingthat, they made it up in ways that would benefit themselves the most.
