That’s not supposed to happen.

That’s not supposed to happen.

I’ve always assumed that if I was in the UK and someone called me that, that I’m doing something right because that person probably likes me enough and is comfortable enough around me to call me that.

Nah, that’s uh… not my name.

Wow - if that quote is real, that is the most corpo-speak word salad bunch of nonsense I’ve ever read. It’s got literally every big-biz exec and manager cliche in there, all strung together.

I posit the most practical and likely least precise definition of all:
Whether something is a sandwich or not is like the difference between art and porn. You know it when you see it.
Could loads of things fall under a technical definition of a sandwich? Totally. Is a taco a sandwich? Please.

That would exclude subs, banh mi, hoagies, baguette with butter and ham (possibly one of the greatest sandwiches), and the breakfast sandwich (egg, sausage, cheese, on English muffin). Better definition is needed.

There’s also the fact that this one is a one-time payment. Are these people really going to pull up their entire lives and businesses instead of a one-time payment that is literally peanuts to them? Doubt. Also, would they rather live in Texas or Florida? Rock on with that.

I guess at least the headline includes a qualifier this time. “Largely” reached, meaning it’s as much of a done deal as all of the other deals and deadlines and ceasefires thus far.

About every 1.5 Mooches.

Festool and Auriou - I also hate money.
They are epically well-made though.

Quote from AP on the shooting:
“The teenagers (suspects)… shared a broad hatred toward different religions and races.
Authorities declined to specify what ideologies or views were expressed by the shooters.”
Absolutely disgusting. If the suspects were brown, anti-rich, or otherwise non-Christian, the FBI probably would have led with that in what information was being released. Gotta keep protecting the delicate snowflake white supremacists out there.

Getting paid
The job

Oh no - not typical at all.

Lube acquired!

Yep - clickbait headline. I’d be against these as much as the next person, but the article itself said (after it’s clickbait headline) that the township settled. Lawsuits back and forth on both sides, but the township accepted a deal, so it wasn’t like everyone said “no” and then they went ahead and built anyway.
Is there a chance the grid could bend?
