I’ve already had a Plex pass for ages, so I’ve just been running both concurrently.
Plex is a lot more accessible for my friends and family that are less tech inclined.

“Summer Games Fest”
Essentially the replacement for E3, which ran from 1995 to 2021.
Barrage of game trailers the second week of June has been around for the last 30 years:
I have a bunch of this specific line of Sabrent dock from different generations.
For some reason, some of them are super finnicky about certain high capacity (over 2TB) drives. What’s even weirder is that I have two identical enclosures purchased at the same time, and for any given drive one dock will be weird but not the other - and it’s not consistently the same dock either.
If you must use the disk externally, I recommend that you try another dock or enclosure. Probably not a Sabrent one, lol.

Don’t get that adapter, get an actual enclosure

Why would anyone care what hardware another player is using?
In 2026, Xbox makes way more sense as a games marketplace / publishing platform. I’d love to see the console aspect evolve to something like the Steam Machine, shipping with Microsoft’s software out of the box but with the openness / flexibility to install other OSes if the user so chooses.

If only Jellyfin were simpler yo setup for the masses…
This.
I got in on Plex Pass at $150 so it’s a no-brainer to keep it up for my friends and family who are less tech inclined, but I’m running it concurrently with Jellyfin on my server.

I’ve still been mostly happy with my 3080 / 5800X and was going to hold off on any upgrades until a more complete rebuild, but seeing the writing on the wall I decided to pick up a 9070XT while prices are lower just to make sure I can really stretch out this platform as much as possible.
Statistically speaking, RAM is the most likely part to fail and I’d rather be in the market for DDR4 than DDR5 if that happens.
Static electricity doesn’t mess with wires, replacing the wiring seems to be an odd choice. It can and does mess with integrated circuits, so I would sooner be looking at mainboard replacement.
Still, this behavior seems almost mechanical in nature. Someone else already asked this, but knowing whether or not the same region of the printhead is consistently affected is going to be critical. You might do a few prints of a 5mm high square with an X through it, using the whole bed.
If it is consistent, I would be inclined to suspect a reassembly issue - maybe something loose at one end of the gantry?

If you’re looking for this functionality in Windows, you want Powertoys Run

Which is surprising, they should have had the stats based on wishlisting alone.
They really should have had this system in place from the get-go, I was actually expecting it to work that way.

I’ve got some bad news for the next time you go RAM shopping

You could use a second account on an instance that federates with everyone for discovery.

Outrage?
I build PCs for a living, I’ve been pitching gamers the 16GB baseline / 32GB futureproofing ‘no worries’ for more than 5 years now.

8BitDo Ultimate 2 Controller lineup is at 1000hz
Gamesir G7 Pro 8k and Razer Wolverine V3 go up to 8000hz

I think it has more to do with where you play than what you play.
For PC games at a desk, keyboard and mouse are already the more precise control method. I know that, for myself, I’m only ever using controllers for the types of games where that format is ideal, at which point I don’t need the precision pointing of a mouse let alone a trackpad.
Meanwhile, I wouldn’t consider a handheld without trackpads because the places where I use one would make adding a mouse cumbersome and impractical.
Since getting the Steam Deck, I’ve never really thought to myself “I really wish I could control my mouse without taking my hand off this controller” while sitting at my desk.
IMO the best use-case for the Steam Controller, and particularly its touchpads, is playing from a couch in front of something like a TV or projector, or maybe from a very reclined position at a desk.

Polling rate is a hit of a bummer, but then again the Xbox Elite controllers I’ve been using have a lower polling rate and I haven’t really noticed - probably because I’d never use a controller for anything competitive.
Looking forward to clicky switch upgrade kits, love the ones I have for Steam Deck :)

For me, ray traced lighting might actually make this look worse than the original on anything but higher end / recent hardware.
Been playing Crimson Desert and the lighting artifacts in RTGI are very distracting, really makes me wish for a traditional lighting option.
Peep the OP’s post history, they’re dropping this drivel in this community multiple times per day. Some might even call it ‘spamming’
While some of the comics might have the potential to be mildly funny, the unnecessary bimbofication of characters in every single comic detracts from that.
Some that I’ve seen teeter on the edge of misogyny and transphobia.
Overall vibe is that this was drawn by 14 year olds, for 14 year olds.
Not directly, but there are Xbox branded ASUS ROG Ally handhelds.
