I prefer plailny greedy corporations over evil ones

Pure wishful thinking like this is just as useful as thoughts and prayers.
This is a overhyped technology just like the internet was before the dotcom bubble popped.
The best you can hope for is for the AI bubble to burst and then see what AI is like when it normalises.
Because to think this technology will just go away is going to end the same way as for the people who said the internet is just a temporary fad.

English, evidently

Is this on a hardware level? Or can I just plug it in a nvidia shield or such and just use it as a screen

I don’t think that would stop the virus because I doubt the bleach would cleanse the inside. Organs, etc.

I can relate to claude.
But not sure if it meant the same type of revolution

It is a downward spiral. Worry, loss, wory, loss, worry andvmore loss.
Loss of future perspectives, worry over basic needs, losd of health, worry over future of kids, loss of mental health, worry over wars, etc.
Proper, independent AI would likely do a much better job at governance than the shitshow we humans present. If it cared about human survival and happiness.
Proper AI.
Not these LLMs that seem like AI, are called AI, but are just probability machines.

The world is going to shit
Top 10 countries of origin for non native Americans which are like 99% of America today:
Top ten countries of origin for Americans (non-native)
(1 generation ≈ 25 years. Based on US Census self-reported ancestry.)
Those meager few generations don’t do anything for defining a specific look. Americans are genetically just everything thrown together while pretending to be “established”.
And these are just top ten. Look at how many percent are still open to be filled with a large number of small percentage origins…
Yea, that I can agree on too.
Changing established characters from something people already identify with breaks that connection and result in anger for obvious reasons.
People like you are the reason why I specifically chose the words: “Any too obviously genetically impossible traits”
Americans and brits do not look clearly different. Similar enough.
But you must have skipped that part of what I wrote or have just jumped to a knee-jerk answer after the first words?
Also: americans are a nation of immigrants. Except the few native Americans, so they can be realistically be played by a wild mix.
I don’t agree.
In most modern movies it doesn’t matter because they are full of random stuff anyway. Multiverses, magic, history that never happened, and so on.
But if they were to make a movie about an african tribe of the 1800s based on real events I wouldn’t be able to take that movie seriously if half or all of them had pinkish-beige skin or any too obviously genetically impossible traits for the geological area and time the movie plays in.
Immersion sometimes also means accuracy.
Any knee-jerk blanket statements like yours are bad. Not as bad as the racist people who just want to find dumb reasons to exclude actors with skin colors darker than theirs, but still just not very smart.
Which is true for many here.
People really need to find the sweet spots between extremes, sheesh.

Yes. It’s one of the most likely apocalypse scenarios.
Here’s to hope enough manage to evolve fast enough to adapt to the human poisoning of the word. Because that’s the only viable path I can see. That humans manage to change fast enough is highly unlikely

Rather, the trick is to figure out what is important for you individually and learn to not care for the opinions of others thst go past factual decision making information.

I really hope you can see the difference between a tech company hire and dudes on the streets playing SS

You do know that meta doesn’t only have high level jobs, right? There cannot just be middle managers everywhere without the bog standard workers.
What kind of perception do you have of tech giants? That all who work there are some kind of imaginary elite?

You do realize that the problem is that people need money? Yea, many would likely have a choice where to work but many might Not have had options.
What is needed is financial basic freedom for everyone. Countries need to sit down and figure out how to make it work because as it stands, jobs have turned into a form of slavery by design.
They aren’t great, though I do think Google is worse. And far too powerful
