I went back and listened to Fetterman during his election, and I’ve listened to Platner in recent interviews, there is a major difference in the general thought of how politics works and how it should work.

I suppose it’s possible that this is another wolf in sheeps clothes, but it sure doesnt look like it to me. Not to mention taken at face value, he’s leaps and bounds ahead of anyone else in the race.

I had to take “keyboarding” my freshman year of high school ( mid 90s), they had an option to opt out if you could type something like 30 words a minute, which I could, from all my messing around on my home PC.

I will say though, I have long fingers and it’s extremely uncomfortable to type in the “proper” position using 8 fingers across the rows. I ended up making my own hybrid 6 finger system that has served me very well to this day, typically I can average around 50 WPM this way.

Anyways, bypassing keyboarding allowed me to take Basic Programming it its place, and each year after our awesome teacher created a new programming class for us, Pascal, C++, Visual Basic and Java by the time we graduated.

I only learned a few years ago, she was not a real person. Just an actress that was used to create a persona. It did help me type tho.

If the dishonesty bothers you, I recommend a more realistic tutor for learning to type: Typing of the Dead.

Listen guy, maybe you haven’t noticed, but we have some serious fuckery we are trying to deal with here. While I agree that metric is a more logical system. We’re trying to get a grip while everything around us is crumbling. Switching to metric is in like volume 17 of our todo list right now, sandwiched between end daylight savings time and making the my pillow guy eat a sock.

Yeah, I agree, and it’s a bummer that the fandom for that game keeps people from experiencing it. It really is a great adventure to discover for yourself

Rent is based on La Boheme, it never tried to hide it. The character have almost identical names and they swapped tuberculosis with AIDS and it’s 100 years later.

I always wondered if La Boheme hit as hard in the 1890’s as Rent did in the 1990’s.
