i had someone assigned under me at work. this person was old enough to have a teenager, yet she could not function. we were painting the halls, she kept setting the paint tray into puddles of paint that she spilled, then kept setting it down on the bare floor. she could not understand how to scrape tape off the tabletops. she could not tell me what her job duties were after 4 months of doing the same shit every day (take trash out, clean bathrooms, sweep, wipe down tables. she could not list that off to me. any time i was giving her direction, she would stare bankly at me slackjawed, like there was no intelligence in her eyes, then 5 minutes later  i would find her on her phone because she couldnt remember what she was supposed to do and didnt even think of asking me to remind her.

she lived a couple houses away from where we work and her mother (who she lives with) would walk over to check on her sometimes. weird.

the last straw came when after 2 hours of work, i came out of the bathroom and all the lights were off and alarm code set, and she was gone. i texted her and asked where she went and she said she thought we were done for the day bc she finished her task and couldnt find me (I WAS IN THE BATHROOM.)

when i got management involved, i was told i didnt try hard enough with her. lol

i dont even understand why we would have a250 bill when most places dont take bills over 20 anyway

my mil buys BAGS of total junk from temu for every xmas and birthday our kid has. it is obnoxious

this poor woman will never have peace until she is dead.

i have had literally one instance of proton going down for a day or so, and i have been using it for over 5 years. i dont understand why it is getting dogged on lately.

not op but if you want decent ones, skullcandy push active. i have had a couple pairs make it thru a washer/dryer cycle (inside their case) and they dont quit lol. other comments mentioned touch controls being a problem in the mist, these ones only have physical buttons so no issue there

i just prop my phone on the top shelf of my shower caddy and hope for the best

millenial here, living with fibromyalgia for 30 years before finding a doctor who actually believed i am in constant pain. also have a joint disorder that is probably ehler danlos but have been refused diagnostics by every specialist within 3 hrs of me bc the list of qualifications to just be TESTED are completely out of reach. i have debated paying for a dna test outta pocket but it is too expensive so i will have to just live with the pain with no treatments.

btw, apparently rheumatologists “dont treat fibro anymore” so my management there is pain medication from my ARNP. lol. america is a fucking joke
