I can’t tell you how many times I payed that final Terran level where you built the base. I never did get to play it multiplayer.
It was an excellent game.

I can confirm the dev is great. I had two feature requests and they did a great job communicating and then implementing those requests.

I used to do phone tech support for a device that hooked up to TVs to filter out profanity.
I would give very explicit instructions on what to plug where. It was really common for me to have people unplug everything and start over because they did something wrong, and I had no way of knowing what because they were all unreliable narrators.
On a second, third, fourth attempt I’d often hear a “OH! You said to plug that into the TOP ROW! I’ve been plugging it in to the bottom row.” Or something like that.
A call less than 30 minutes was a good call. Calls over an hour were not uncommon. If I had someone who could follow instructions, it could be as quick as a handful of minutes.

I fly a paramotor (powered paraglider) and it’s the cheapest form of powered flight.
Costs about as much as a motorcycle to buy and run.

This sounds like a Tim Robinson sketch.
I know that the gas prices will hit us indirectly. But damn it feels good to have an EV right now. I mean, it did before, but especially now.

I had that Crash Test Dummies game on the Game Boy. I don’t think I knew there was a Game Gear version. I need to check that out.
Given that DF is free and has been around for nearly 20 years, I doubt that.

I traded in my Miata for a 2017 Bolt last year and I love the stupid little thing. By American standards it’s a small car, but it has a good deal of space inside. But I’ll also say that it’s small enough that it’s fun to take downtown where parking gets hairy.
So, if you haven’t tried one yet, I’d recommend at least giving the Bolt a shot.

If your average daily drive is 40 miles or less you can use a regular wall outlet to charge an EV.
Any more than that and you’ll need a bigger home charger, but you can still charge at home where it’s cheap unless you’re driving over 100 miles or so every day.

Genuinely not trying to one up you. But I was so excited for the game I played the leaked alpha before it released.
I used to buy 4 packs of the game to give away.

You’re right about 6ghz. I misunderstood that bit.

The dongle itself is WiFi 6. You need a WiFi 7 AP to use it without the dongle.

Glad to see that’s getting a sequel. It was a really nice, fun game.
Lemmy also pushed me into trying Linux about 2 years ago and I also ended up on Aurora. Aurora has a pretty small user base, but it’s nice.

In my experience, people will put garlic in mayo and call it aioli.

actually prefer Windows
I don’t understand. I recognize the words, but in that order, they make no sense.

I’m baffled by how much people like the Disturbed version. I find it to be considerably worse than the original.

Individual devices can range from dirt cheap to fairly expensive, but it all adds up over time.
Getting things initially set up is usually easy. Getting things automated correctly to your liking is a rabbit hole that is as deep as you want to dive into it.
What’s really nice about HA is being able to do whatever the fuck you want whenever you want. You can take it in bites buying devices in waves and tweaking automations in waves.
That’s how I’ve done it over the last 4 years or so.
I self hosted it, too. Super easy to set up.
