Thanks. No I can’t send them cash
I’ve heard bad things about both. Proton implies a lot of lock in and you almost can’t use it with custom clients (thunderbird, aerc)
Tuta’s support is pretty much nonexistent.
Keep in mind, check the solution’s licensing so they don’t suddenly start putting things behind paywall. Use software that is truly FOSS (GPL for example) with no exceptions.
Saying this because I’m bit by mattermost’s head-assery.
What is a good, paid email service that is
?
You code in german?

I don’t like the term “AI coding”, but recently I have been playing with opencode with it’s hosted models and ollama for light local models. It’s good as a rubber ducky, an assistant, or co-programmer.

Clojure is the peak of language design.

My days of gaming are pretty much over, so I’m out of the loop, but I really like how this game looks. Is it free and can I play it without steam and other tools? For example 0.a.d. Runs just from an appimage.
Facing an issue is an exception not a default. I’ve been using the same GPU for 7 years now and it never had any problems.
Been on i3wm for 3 4 years now I guess. Also work with sway on some systems.
you can actually see and use my config

I ask why? Then I answer “why not”

Emacs is GUI

Go is as serious as it gets. Go is also pretty simple and gives you great foundation and understanding.
Either go with Go (!) or with a lisp like racket, following the book https://htdp.org/ These are different approaches but will give you a huge headstart and better understanding of how to actually design a system instead of getting lost in code. I personally recommend the second approach to people who ask me.

What the actual fuck is this timeline that we are living in?
I read that the guy is a legend and genius (I believe that because rsync is fantastic. He invented that). I trust in him knowing what he’s doing. We should give him a hand if we want it to be better.

Thanks. I will look into it.

Seems cool! I’ve been looking for something like this. Especially if it can be used as a collaborative knowledge management tool for team knowledge bases.
Holy crap I thought rsync is a super serious and professional program. Didn’t thought they ruin it with vibecodeing.
A lot of important infra depends rsync.
I actually wrote a blog about this a few months back. It was after a 12 day war (Israel+USA attacking Iran) and 40 day internet blackout, and then we got into another war (Israel+USA attacking Iran) and a 90-100 day(lost track) internet blackout.
It isn’t exactly “how to survive the apocalypse” guide but it was a really helpful guide for myself and my friends and helped me keep working in those blackout days.
It’s isn’t focused on hardware, just software, since I’m a software engineer.
