Not sure if “this is what you get”, something like this doesnt happen very often.

I dont know, I think repetition is also part of something being a hobby. If I eat an expensive piece of meat once, is that really a hobby of mine?

So your decision for an activity over the next decade or so depends on whether some strangers would label it as a hobby or part of cooking?
Is this some copypasta I dont know?

To clear up your misunderstanding, those were quotes by himself. He played it down and tried to frame himself as the victim.
Thats right, but games like Baldurs Gate or KCD2 still take a lot of time. Its not like shifting the priority to making a better game makes it take much less time to develop. If you abandon graphics altogether maybe, thats where indie comes into play. But AAA need to appeal to much bigger groups of people.
You have that option. Theres literally thousands of such games, unlike 20 years ago. But this opinion doesnt seem to be the norm, otherwise AAA wouldnt still be a thing.

This might seem a lot to you but that amount of wood could barely heat an apartment for an hour.
In terms of wasted resources this is pretty neglectable, especially considering that education is among the better things to waste resources on.
But for the record Im not saying we arent wasting huuuge amounts of paper, especially for advertisement, just trying to put it into perspective.

Yeah thats the part I understood, but on what conditions? If they earn 69m$ for 6 months in a row, the bonus is 0$ but if they earn 70m$ one month and 0$ for 5 more months the bonus is 210m$? That kind of doesnt make any sense.

…pay out that bonus, which equates to $3.12 for every $1 every month that Unknown Worlds surpasses $69.8 million in revenue
Im a little lost here. Can someone explain this sentence please?

DAMN SOCIALIST PIGS!

Thats how health care works in civilized countries. In the US its more like “everyone is way worse off, the people who get really sick are still ruined because insurance fucks them over and you still have to pay for going to the doctor”.

With OPs figure of 5k/year that would be around 8 years of saving in an ETF portfolio. How often do you need an endoscopy? Not sure if 5k is a realistic number though.

US health insurance is basically a scam. Saving the money makes way more sense statistically. But A) insurance is there to minimize risk (of going bankrupt by being sick) and B) people (especially US Americans) tend to spend all the money they have, and money you already spent on health insurance is money you cant spend elsewhere.

You dont have school police in your country? Whos gonna protect your children from the thousands of school shooters roaming around? The problem is they cant own guns yet to protect themselves. I say we should stop wasting money on police idling in schools and just be rational. Arm the kids!

What do you mean? The “potatoes are easy to grow” part? Idk, if you need to put “a ton of work” into growing potatoes youre most likely doing something wrong or are living in Antarctica.

This is true, if its just about the money its not worth it. But the time spent growing food is much more enjoyable than work, so its probably not a fair comparison.
I wouldnt say ‘a ton of effort’ though. Potatoes for example you plant them, water them like any other plant and voila 2kg of potatoes. Potatoes are cheap af though so thats not gonna save you a ton of money, but theres virtually no work involved.
Since I started watching subbed like 15 years ago, dubbed sounds so unbelievably ridiculous. It hurts my ears when I hear dubbed Anime.
