I’ve got this theory that the means of production of a country is centred around an industrial base, which provides primary and secondary goods to the country to be processed into goods which can reproduce labour.
The main difference then between Soviet liberalization and Chinese market reforms, is that the the Chinese were able to retain the industrial base as organs of the party while soviet liberalization induced neglect of the industrial base.
Similarly, we can trace the industrial base of western nations to extend globally through imperialism, explaining its strength and technological advancement. Whereas in communist nations, it’s limited to just the country itself.
Are there any resources or articles that validate this theory?
maybe in these authors https://en.prolewiki.org/wiki/ProleWiki:Library#Socialism_with_Chinese_Characteristics
