Living in Germany, the political situation gets worse and worse. Not only did we experience the same shift to the right as many countries did, it might get even worse in about three years after the federal election. The far-right AfD is currently leading the polls. And while I know three years are much time, I better want to be prepared.
Trump is president since about 470 days. How did you experience those? What did you learn? Any kinds of tactics? What could be useful for other people in countries with such a shift? Any especially interesting/important observations?

Tactics?
Work on “plan A” removing thru the democratic process…
Don’t ever give up on Plan A, but always have backup plans, because if/when Plan A fails, you need to immediately pivot to plan B, and so forth.
Just be ready for whatever contingencies that may come up.
Like, your question is just way too to vague for you to get the answers you’re looking except by random chance
