“When you’re negotiating with Iran, Mr. President, to what extent are Americans’ financial situations motivating you to make a deal?” a reporter asked Trump before he left for China on Tuesday, alluding to the skyrocketing inflation caused by the fallout from the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran and Lebanon.
“Not even a little bit,” Trump said, shockingly out of touch even for him.
The whole system needs an overhaul. There’s no way to trust the system anymore
I mean when he still has 44% approval ratings, half of America or more is to blame.
It’s just insane.
NYT has his aggregate approval/disapproval is 38%/59%. CNN has him at 35%/63%.
I’ve seen polls as low as 32%. He’s going to drop below 30% soon.
That’s hardly the point, though. It’s fucking absurd and an absolute indictment of our entire society that it’s even in double digits!
