Is the IRS direct file dead now? Propublica did a couple articles about how while it technically existed it was impossible to find it and the TurboTax type companies would just route you to a pay option and make it impossible to find the free option.
Lawmakers said they were going to fix it after those articles but you know since the gangsters seized what they are promising to be permanent control of the government a lot of things have changed.
