Berlin is a terrible place to drive a car. On the other hand, public transport is pretty good. Can’t understand why anyone would prefer to take a car. Same thing - and probably even more so - in Munich.

Do rush hour for 10 years in Munich with public transport (where you have to change transport method. Critical.) and you might think different.

If not, you might be more resilient than many of us are. If not for the space, involuntary body contact, temperatures (hot or cold, or maybe even nicely moist), the smells and sounds or the sudden required changes of plan and unreliability it can be nice, but rarely during rush hour. Over decades no progress has been made and the collapse has long happened. We’re just chugging through, nevermind the method of transport.
