        Ripping out the thyroid wreaks havoc on the body, survival isn’t the only thing encountered with these diseases. It’ll be taxing forever.

          As I understand it that’s rarely the solution anymore, targeted radiation treatments and drug therapies have revolutionized treatment of thyroid cancers.

          … But we can always hope.
