Are you guys not using a FOSS Lemmy client? Try Voyager. Half the reason I’m on this platform is to avoid ads
I’m on Boost because I was using it for reddit before the grand enshitification. I didn’t actually know it had ads because they were always blocked.
Isn’t boost like, $3? I’m on it as well and have never seen an ad, but can’t remember if I tossed them a few bucks
