WTF. Independent of this “agent” crap needed to remain open, to need a clamp (in Apple for sure $300) is hilarious. Almost any Laptop of other brands have in their settings how to handle the closing of it’s screen. In my ACER I can close the Laptop without shutting down the OS, if I want. I setted it to only turn off the screen.
As always, Apple = Design (expensive) over function, performance and compatibility

With the usual Apple policy it’s way possible to be real. One of the reason I don’t use Apple products and never will.
