    It is a real credit to hi that he pulled that character off so well. It is hard to be the bad guy and not be the mustaches twirling ass whipe.

    Trivia: Paul Reiser’s character Carter Burke was so immediately hated that during the movie’s premiere his sister hit him, and when Burke’s death occurred, his mom’s response was simply “good.”

    That’s the entirety of the article. It was the character who was hated, not the actor as the title implies.

    So some minor event that should have stayed a fun family story for the reisers and their acquaintances is resurrected after 40 years for…? What exactly

    Paul Reiser has always been an irritating twerp. Not funny, I’ve never like anything he’s done.

    That is until the Kominski Method. I have no idea how he can go toe-to-toe with Michael Douglas, but he’s PERFECT as the irritating pal. I think he just needed to ripen into a crusty old man before he actually became funny.

    I also love that Kathleen Turner was in it.
