      So in John Wick 1 the cleaner only got about 2k along with his men to clean up and dispose of the mess?

        They got $2,000.00 as a bonus. Cleaning up the mess would have been part of their regular duties.

        More important, they got a coin they could spend at the hotel. Even if they just went in and had drinks at the bar, they’d be seen as part of the elite.

        It’s a status symbol. Richard Pryor once said that there were plenty of people in Hollywood who would rather spend $100,000.00 getting a ticket to the Oscars than on getting a new car. Anyone can get an expensive car, but showing up at the Oscars means you’re SOMEBODY!!
