The red parts of California are very, very red and filled with lots of shortsighted people. The “State of Jefferson” could never exist because those red counties also tend to be net negatives economically. But they still get to vote. Thankfully Hilton likely has little chance in the general.

That’s not really the part that gets to me, though. Pretty irked by the whole process. Very much tuned to keep the Dem party-line candidate on the ballot at the expense of progressives.
