    I tried reading the first book years ago, but I couldn’t get into it. Maybe I should give it another shot?

      I’ve read 8 of them and it might seem crazy for someone who has read 8 books of a series to tell you not to bother, but uh, don’t bother. There’s better written fantasy out there.
