There was a movie about the formation of NWA that I watched a few years ago. I wish I could remember the name of it. It was really great and I learned a lot I didn’t know about them. I’ll try to think of the name and will update this comment if I can find it.

If you want to see a similar one but east coast rap then you gotta watch Wu-Tang: An American Saga. It’s just as good.

That’s a wild ride and I think Beats by Dre being bought for $3.2B is possibly the craziest part.
