i think one of the saddest parts of lolcow culture is that, 9 times out of 10, the subject of mockery has no choice but to pander to the whims of their bullying audience due to being homeless, disabled, or otherwise materially desperate. what social support they do have access to is usually sabotaged by the lolcow audience as much as possible. it is incredibly cruel.
