If a place is overpriced, I don’t buy there. If there is an option to pay more voluntarily to express satisfaction, I regularly do so with an amount of tip that seems appropriate to me in that moment.
However, it is not my job to pay the workers or to champion their rights while I am on vacation; that is nonsense. Either their salary is included in the price of the product or not, that’s definitely NOT my business to care for that because I don’t run their business. I’m a customer and guest and I pay for all the service. But the price has to be quoted in advance, I don’t accept hidden costs.
