The Obamas produced an apocalypse movie wherein a guy gives a monologue that there isn’t actually a global cabal in charge and that is scarier than if there was a cabal ‘cause it means nobody has a plan now nor when the world goes to shit.
So it seems there is a cabal, but they’re not that deep or mysterious and are just male selfishness distilled.
Enjoyed it, but… ain’t it a bit convenient that the boat stops directly in front of them in particular?
The circumstances seemed to ‘attack’ the main characters, rather than be impartial, which, they would be considering the main cast are essentially nobodies.
…and the fliers were kinda corny. America is how big, and you’re dumping pieces of paper on a random strip of road in the middle of nowhere?

Pretty solid movie. From Sam Esmail, the guy who wrote and directed the Mr. Robot TV series.
