I’ve gone back through YEARS of their posts on Bluesky and Twitter and I can’t find this post at all. Either they never made it, or they deleted it. Whichever is the case, I wouldn’t trust a cropped image of a social media post without anything to back it up. This post should probably be removed unless a credible source can be cited.

That tells a wholly different story than the OP. The article says the government is moving nuclear material into private power to enable more nuclear power growth within the US. The image reads like Trump is giving Silicon Valley the ability to create nuclear bombs.

So, that said, my last line is doubly true. The post should be removed, especially now that we have a source, because the post is an fearmongering at best, and misinformation at worst.

No, you saw “start-up” and apparently focused on “social media” despite no one anywhere else talking about that.

The headline of that article is:

Trump plan to give start-ups plutonium harvested from Cold War–era nuclear weapons is risky, experts say

I have no idea how much longer it would take for you to understand this, but you’re clearly going to keep misinterpreting things and making accusations trying to lead witchhunts.

There are plenty of places for that

The program is very real, however I dislike how the is grabbing attention whilst not mentoning that the plutonium in question is meant to be reditributed for dialution into fissile fuel only. Which idk… changes the context a little. Just a tiny bit.
