My heart breaks for them. A healthy society protects their most vulnerable. We exploit them and stack the system against them so they turn to crime and slavery in for profit prisons. We build anti homeless infrastructure. The hardest part of all this is how much we deserve our fall.

I suppose one way to reduce poverty is to kill off poor people by denying them health care.

It just feels so cartoon-villain-ish to give rich people tax cuts and cut health care from poor people at the same time. Like: I get that you get your payroll needs met by the rich people, but don’t you also have to ensure you get the votes from the poor ones?

The now successful plan going forward is to convince those poor people to vote against their own best interests. That’s why the billionaire class controls social media.
