Yes. And put a train in it. We’ve done this a hundred years ago.
How about 5 teslas that drive 12mph?
That are so close to the tunnel walls you can’t get out in an emergency, nor can first responders get past, even on foot
I feel like I’ve read a similar story with an underground burrowing machine by musk. How did that one end?
You mean the laundering company?
Even money has to be cleaned
Elon has been looking for excuses to build long tunnels, which are uncommon events, I wonder what he’s actually doing this for. He’s trying to do some testing of some sort
It’s to stop, hinder or slow down adoption of public transit. He has a car company. It would hurt his bottom line
like with the hyperloop scam, which prevented california,s fast rail. bart/caltrain for what it was is still very inadequete and unreliable.
BART could sure as fuck be a lot better. But I think they just laid some track between Bakersfield and Barstow or something.
wish it goes to oyster point, mostly because biotech campuses are there and in south bay area, and people find it hard press to get jobs without spending alot of money on car and gas, or even apply there. an actual fast rail woulve solved alot of these issues.
This is probably the least socially harmful of all the awful things Nashville would otherwise spend that money on. So fine, let them bury their public funds underground. Better than institutionally abusing trans kids or whatever the fuck else they do there.
They will just do both, and you know it. In the US, there is always money to cause suffering.
Yup admittedly that’s the sad reality.
Most of jobs in cities are office jobs…fix the problem without spending a fucking dime by allowing workers to…work from home…
Tunnel + train? – sounds good
Tunnel + gadgetbahn? – no, fuck off
Tunnel + individual cars? – laughable
