I’ve never thought much of Sluggo before this comic. But he must have amazing jaw muscles if he can chew that much gum at once.
One time my teacher gave me a roll of bubble tape as a kid, and it didn’t occur to me that I could take it home so I shoved the whole thing in my mouth. She gave me a very concerned look, and just watched as I struggled to chew at all.
Nowadays, my jaw gets tired if I eat a few too many doritos.
