Seems that all the apathetic leftists who didn’t quite care enough to vote for Bernie, or other progressives in the primaries, only to bitch about their choices in the general have finally realized how important primaries are. That or more leftists are stepping up and running. Whatever the reason, I’m here for it and like seeing it unfold. Still not getting my hopes up, but it is good to see.
They weren’t apathetic. They were suppressed, and yes they are absolutely over the DNCs refusal to listen and support them. Over the genocide, over the corporate media machine, over the constant deference to fascist bullshit in this country.
They realized the DNC would never back them or the American people. So fuck it, the party’s OURS now.
