ah yes, accidental Nazi symbology. the most plausibly deniable kind of Nazi symbology.

remind me, how long did it take GOG to publicly denounce Nazi’s and apologize for any offense?

didn’t they also send it everywhere in the world except Germany? like the one place in the world where it’s a literal crime to display Nazi symbolism.

              convenient…

they did send it to germany, but stopped the sending (i guess sending out newsletters to millions of people takes a few hours) to german customers when they noticed the accident/got complaints

if they intentionally added nazi symbology, they wouldn’t have send it to german customers in the first place

you could say, that they could’ve not thought about german law and that way accidentally send it to germans

but i like to give people a second chance instead of yelling “nazi” in their face for eternity after they did an error and apologized for it

yeah…second chances are for deserving individuals.

this is their apology. from X. you know, that popular platform run by this guy.

                  1000004269

there’s something lacking in their “apology”. I know if I was publicly accused of supporting or being a Nazi I would vehemently reject the notion.

they didn’t even say things like, “Nazism is wrong and does not fit into our culture as a company.” or “We reject Nazism based on our moral and ethical ideologies.”

nope. just, “we’re sorry that you guys misinterpreted it. we won’t let it happen again.”

yeah…IMO GOG is just enough Nazi for me to not give them second chances.
