That’s what I was thinking. How is this in any way not the opposite of patriotism? On technicality they’re steering torward treason, but neither state they adhere to exists anymore.
Not even the flag of an enemy nation. They chose the battle standard of a particular regiment.
And the nation the regiment commanded didn’t last as long as the 30 seconds to mars tour.
