Unfortunately it shows that we have as large a contingent of Canadians that really do not care what happens to others so long as they think they are immune to the fallout. I’ve got a relative in the US now who sends periodic texts about how great he is being treated etc. He was a bit miffed when someone pointed out that he is obviously too old to work so no one is worried he’s there to work illegally and he is as white as they come and male. So of course HE isn’t having any problems. A*** doesn’t care that many other people are having problems. So long as he’s got his. In this case, he actually is a boomer to boot although he’d tell you that Canadian taxes have made him so poor that we should pity him (but he is still able to spend 6 months in the US every winter).
