Everyone is mad at AIPAC but they are late to the game while private equity has owned the US government since they got scared by occupy wallstreet.
Hi I suggest you crack open a history book and look at why ford didn’t pay his employees in peanuts.

As many of us that understand the problem, there is a white supremacist culture in the southern states invested in oligarchy that act as a rope around our collective necks. idk how to fix it but we cant do anything when they control the senate and through a mix of gerrymander and well funded propaganda networks, the house.

The cities are impressive but imo the rural areas are where, I as an American, are most impressed. Middle of no where charging infrastructure and large walk-able communities put the US rural areas to shame.

Have you ever been to europe? I don’t think you have any appreciation for how successful the regulations in the US around nicotine addiction have worked.

They own enough politicians to keep any possible change under committee review indefinitely. IF we did pass a law they also own enough judges that it would die in a shadow docket. I love oligarchy, basically anything broken is broken because some rich ass hole is paying for it to be kept that way.

The GOP would already had the emergency session called up to pass a law to get around whatever the court just ruled. I can’t wait for dems to do jack shit becuase a republican friendly judge told them too.

it depends on how much money they have.

Looking back at the process to evaluate our leaders makes this statement pop. A debate with 5 minute responses to world challenges where the candidates can talk over each other? Wtf are we even doing.

We don’t have to use as much. Manure still works its more work though and farmers love to optimize.

I guess but the cheapest new EV is less than the most popular new car in my area.

Me too, but at least it pays for a school or something vs some rich assholes pocket. I have never seen a better acceptable solution.

Im cool with the state owning things. Its the oversize marketing budgets and no concern for harm that comes with private ownership that bugs me.

I just looked. The newest Nissan Leaf is $29,990 with a 300 mile range. That’s not too bad compared to the more popular Toyota rav4 @ $ 31,900. Its way better than I thought. I hear you on the plug issue but if you can make it work EVs are the way to go.

A ray of hope: Oil being expensive makes solar more attractive. Having an EV and home solar insulated my family against the daily hike in the price of a gallon of gas.

This title is getting saved as something that needs to get addressed when we try to refund public funding. Im all for it, but I also know NPRs tone police are a key component to the normalization of today’s GOP.

China is putting the infrastructure in place internally along their big ass rivers.
Did VW ever implement one pedal drive? Total non starter for me a few years ago (got a volvo instead).
