Volume for sure, but also Americans seem to be largely incapable of experiencing silence. They tend to fill silence as if they love the sound of their own voice.
Obviously this isn’t all Americans, and my only experience of Americans are when they’re tourists.
You say you listen more than you speak so you’re probably fine. Even just asking about how to not be annoying shows you have more self awareness than any American I’ve ever met
That list is an automatic no from me. America is FAR down on the list of countries I would like to see one day, but as long as those requirements exist, absolutely not.

I love my modular synthesizer, although the cost of it is not good value for money so probably can’t count as my best tech purchase.
My sim racing rig has the same issue, it’s bought me thousands of hours of joy but is prohibitively expensive.
My ergodox mechanical keyboard is a solid contender. The original model, Hand built, cherry MX clears. It’s lasted easily 10 years and I hate typing on anything else.
But I think it’s probably my headphones. Beyerdynamics DT770 pro’s. They sound great, they’re super comfy, and not terribly expensive. I’ve had them for probably 10 years and I see no reason I won’t have them till the day I die

If you’re new at it, keep at it, but if it’s been a few months it might be time to switch medication. if you’ve already switched a bunch of times, they might not work for you and your only option is probably therapy

New Zealand is incredibly beautiful. I think my favourite place was on top of Fox glacier, but search up Marakopa falls, Wilson’s creek chasm, Milford sound, and the church of the good Shepard to see more incredible spots

It’s great. I’m pretty sure you can sign in so you get your algorithm and subscriptions. But it’s an incredible app. Infinitely better than the normal YouTube app.
