If you are running gos I am unaware of any issues, but I know that the stock os for the pixel 9 pro has a bug that stops the screen from responding, even across reboots. When I had to deal with it, I could only fix it via adb with a specific image from google that took me 5ish hours to find

windows run almost every PC hardware and still supports decades old legacy apps Windows yes, windows 11 no. With jump to 11, the TPM 2.0 requirement removed a great deal of the usable devices based upon one hardware spec that was only really common as of 5 years ago. In addition, win x16 apps have not been supported since win7 despite them working under wine, or at least more so than nothing. This coupled with the push to web apps on the os has all but killed the legacy apps aspect unless you consider them to be the apps which have had updates in the last 10ish years, which I disagree are legacy.
With all the money they receive from this incredibly intelligent business decision, they are going to stop it from crashing every two seconds… Right?
FOSS devs especially, you do this for the good of everyone for little benefit to yourselves.
I guarantee that most contributors who aren’t being paid are doing their commits out of spite, but I can definitely applaud them for being as vindictive as they are.

If you’re looking for alternatives and you don’t care about automatic device syncing, I have been enjoying using keepassxc

If someone knows the specifics on them I would be happy to know, but I feel like there is a lot more heat generated in a data center, of any useable size, than could feasibly be cooled using radiators.
I would like to add a bullet point to your issues since I’m not sure solar would be good enough to sustain such an orbital. Once again I am only surmising and would like to hear if I am way off base.

I understand what you were saying now, when I read it before, it presented as one point(“please the share holders”) rather than your intended meaning.

I tend to agree that company backed projects go to shit after the shareholders get involved, but while there is nothing stopping Valve from doing an IPO in the future, they are currently a privately held company. This means they have no irrational share holders to appease. I surmize that this is the main reason why the Valve does nothing and wins meme exists because unlike most other corporations, Valve has the luxury of doing nothing.

Iirc if proper safety is employed for lithium ion, the density difference is negligible.

a unified defensive pact
Wouldn’t this be covered by article 42.7 of the EU charter?

Every mainline android ROM includes chrome as default.

Technically speaking, it is chromium derived which does make the difference in this instance.

I am very much the same with locking the system manually, and on KDE it is the same as the windows shortcut ie Super + L

In close quarters situations the spread of buckshot would be negligible & a slug might not have enough penetration to punch through kevlar, so I would say it is feasible. That being said the energy would rearrange their insides pretty badly so possibly non-lethal but definetly would cause injury.

My desktop which is running a i7-6700k from 2015 out performs all of the <$400 laptops that I could find on every metric and had higher multi core but lower single core for the $400-$600 range. I was unable to find a desktop that was <$800 that was better, so I would surmize that the desktop market won’t have a meaningful price/performance % in comparison to the laptops. At the very least with the insanity of graphics & memory prices at the moment, the budget systems are getting smoked by a desktop from 2015, even while purposefully omitting the 2070 I have because that was a newer addition and pretty much all of the systems are running poor quality integrated graphics anyway.
